Split Modes

  • Auto (equal clips) — divides the video into equal-length clips. Set the duration slider to 15 s (TikTok), 30 s, or 60 s (Reels/Shorts)
  • By clip count — enter how many clips you want. The video is divided equally
  • Manual cut points — enter exact timestamps in seconds, comma-separated. Example: 30, 75, 120 creates cuts at 0:30, 1:15 and 2:00

Steps

  1. Upload your MP4, MOV or WebM video
  2. Choose a split mode and duration
  3. Use the TikTok / Reels / Shorts quick buttons to set the right duration
  4. Click ✂️ Analyse & Preview Clips
  5. Each clip records in real time — a 30 s clip takes about 30 seconds to process
  6. Download clips individually or use Download All

Important notes

  • Processing is real-time — a 10-minute video split into 60 s clips takes ~10 minutes total
  • Use Chrome or Edge for best results
  • If a clip fails with a timeout error, try splitting into shorter segments

Metadata is embedded in WAV (RIFF INFO) and FLAC files. Applied to all tracks in the batch.

Streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon) normalize to −14 LUFS. Enable this to pre-normalize and avoid clipping.

💡 Platform guide: Apple Music accepts ALAC/FLAC up to 24-bit/192kHz via distributors. Amazon Music HD accepts FLAC 24-bit/192kHz. Spotify accepts FLAC 24-bit/96kHz through DistroKid, TuneCore etc. WAV 32-bit is the best mastering format before distributing.

Important notes

  • Converting a low-quality MP3 to hi-res WAV does not add quality that wasn't in the original — start from the highest quality source you have
  • FLAC encoding loads a small WASM library (~2 MB) on first use
  • Apple Music, Amazon and Spotify require files to be submitted through a music distributor (DistroKid, TuneCore, CD Baby etc.) — PixelKit prepares the files to the correct technical specification
Privacy First: All image processing runs entirely in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server. PixelKit uses HuggingFace Transformers.js (RMBG-1.4 model, ~40 MB cached on first use) for AI background removal.

🤖 AI Model

The AI background removal model (RMBG-1.4 by Bria AI) is downloaded from HuggingFace to your browser on first use (~40 MB) and then cached locally. All inference runs on your own device — no image data is transmitted during AI processing.
